---------Work of Lexica--------- Architectural drawing & pattern stamps

Over my 3+ years working on Lexica, I drew an incredibly large amount of architectural concepts and technical orthographic drawings and breakdowns like these, often including detailed material and texture references, focusing on unique feeling architecture, but also keeping it modular. We had a large world to build and needed a lot of flexibility, so I worked to keep designs feeling visually interesting but also repeatable without seeing the same details so much that it gets too obvious or visually boring.

Model sheet I hand drew, calling out specific pieces of the environment that were ready for modeling, with more detailed drawings of specific elements. Also included black and white stamps for modelers to use, to save them time sculpting the 3D assets.

Concept I created for the mine doors, as well as the levers that controlled them - they had to fit the feeling of the underground mining area, but also still have some semblance of basic design elements used in the upper library

Model sheets I drew for the mine carts themselves and the elevators that the inhabitants used to transport carts full of crystal up out of the mines to be processed.

Technical orthographic drawing I created for the rails in Lexica's crystal mine level. Everything had to fit specific size parameters and be modular so rails in the final level could be lengthened or shortened as needed, depending on final level design.

Hand drawn model sheet I created for the shelves/walls of Lexica's library, breaking them down into modular pieces for the 3D team to build, allowing the Design team flexibility later on to create both large and small environments from the same model kit.

Hand drawn model concept/model sheet featuring construction elements for Lexica's massive library environment. Pieces had to feel uniquely crafted but also modular in order to help the level design team build massive environments that felt richly detailed
