Music's Magic: Opening New Worlds

From the maquette I sculpted of the dragon to get a better idea of form, perspective, and lighting (see sculpt pics below), this digital painting was a fantasy twist on how the art of illustration expresses the powerful art of music to open new worlds for even the deadliest of creatures.
