WASTELANDERS LOGO

This was for a turn-based strategy game set in the wastelands of the post apocalyptic future, where live streamers and TV viewers fight together against each other to survive.

The logo for this game went through many, many iterations over a couple of weeks, and the gas mask variation here is the final result.

It actually went through 2 final rounds, the first being more of a jumbled "punk rock concert poster" vibe with text having a cut and pasted together feel etc., and after a lot of sketches (some of them shown here), we settled on the original "final" version with the interstate sign background.

After finalizing the interstate version, we got a lot of feedback that the road sign made it feel like a racing game, so we went back to the drawing board and eventually ended up removing all road sign/car elements and keeping the pieces to what the characters themselves might carry, and eventually fine tuned it down to the gas mask edition here.
